1. Electrical Technician must be able to troubleshoot and repaircontrol devices and motors in the 110 V AC to 4160 V AC range.
2. Electrical Technician maintains power transformers.(4160,460,460/110) and lighting transformers. (4160/277).
3. Electrical Technician must be able to troubleshoot and repairrelay/limit switch logic devices.
4. Electrical Technician must be able to electronic troubleshoot andrepair any electronic type control devices that utilize solid statecomponents, transistors, diodes, VDC. This repair includes printedcircuit board assemblies.
5. Electrical Technician must be able to trouble shoot, program andrepair PLC\'s.
6. Electrical Technician must be able to trouble shoot and repair anycontrol devices used in conjunction with Plant service in steam, water,air, etc. These control devises may be electrical or mechanical.
7. Electrical Technician must be able to effectively communicate withmaintenance supervision, other engineering personnel, area departmentsupervision.
8. Electrical Technician must be able to do basic welding.
9. Electrical Technician will follow all plant policies, environmentalpolicies, and plant and departmental safety policies. Must be certifiedto operate a Fork Lift through the Safety Department.
10. Electrical Technician will accurately and correctly record job timeand accurately record/sign-in service/attendance time.
11. Perform other duties as directed by the Maintenance Supervision orDepartment Manager.
Medium to heavy work. Exposed to heat and dust. Must be able to standfor long periods, frequently stoop, twist, bend, walk long distances,climb stairs/ladders, drive/ride maintenance 3 wheel bicycle, and lift50 or more pounds occasionally. Work at heights and outdoors whenrequired. Ability to wear respirator, safety equipment, and safetyapparatus for above ground work. Push, pull medium to heavy. Not afraidto get dirty. Full range of motion in both hands and arms with theability to use both hand and powered tools. Work off shifts andweek-ends when scheduled or required.
AAS Degree in Electrical field or successful passing of Electricalplacement test with 3-5 years of experience.
