Description:
The final electrical assembler is performing assembly of electrical and pneumatic components into all inline presses and press equipment for final shipment. Will perform final electrical testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting of inline presses and press equipment prior to shipment to customers.
Job duties will include:
*Assembles final wiring on all presses including print stations, power packs, control panels, using wiring schematics, diagrams, and relevant documentation
Performs final electrical testing and calibration; will also perform electrical troubleshooting, diagnosing and repair if does not work properly
Identifies and corrects component failures and wiring errors using multi-meter, oscilloscope, function generator, schematics, etc.
Calibrates key components, such as, motor controllers, tension systems, web guides, etc., on all presses using multi-meter, engineering specifications, etc.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will have:
Minimum 2 years industrial sized control panel wiring experience
Minimum 2 years electrical assembly experience
Final electrical testing experience from school or on the job
Electrical troubleshooting experience and capabilities
Experience installing electrical boxes on machines
Ability to read blueprint and schematic
Good Job Tenure
Troubleshooting experience with high attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment
HS Diploma or GED
