Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager in West Palm Beach. As an Accounting Manager, you will be tasked with overseeing our corporate accounting department, reviewing transactions and journal entries, and supervising and supporting staff. This role also includes assisting in monthly financial reporting, annual budgets, and yearly audits.

Responsibilities:

• Supervision of the corporate accounting department and staff

• Review and verify transactions, general ledger, and journal entries

• Manage workloads and provide training opportunities for staff growth and development

• Utilize knowledge in multi-entity accounting, reconciliations and consolidations

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and annual budgets

• Participate in yearly audit processes

• Proficient use of Dynamics (GreatPlains) and Excel for accounting purposes

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable

• Conduct monthly reconciliation and close procedures

• Prepare monthly forecasts and manage multiple and pass-through entities

• Regularly update and maintain accurate customer credit records

• Efficiently process customer credit applications

Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in a managerial or supervisory capacity

• Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficient in auditing practices and procedures

• Proficient with month-end close processes

• Familiarity with Great Plains Dynamics software

• Advanced proficiency in Excel

• Experience in managing and maintaining the General Ledger

• Ability to produce accurate monthly financial reports

• Experience in conducting monthly reconciliation tasks

• Demonstrated experience in managing accounts for multiple entities

• Understanding and experience with pass-through entities

• Demonstrated ability to prepare budgets and monthly forecasts

• Proficient in preparing and reviewing journal entries.
