JOB REQUIREMENTS: Duties and Responsibilties of Job: Loparex LLC is theworld\'s largest manufacturer of extrusion base and silicone coatedrelease liners for the converting industry. We have manufacturingoperations throughout the U.S., Europe, China, and India. We arecurrently looking for an experienced Electrical & InstrumentationTechnician to work in the Hammond facility. Responsibilities: Installsand repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electroniccomponents of industrial machinery and equipment, following electricalcode, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications,using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic testequipment. Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installedmachines and equipment, such as robots, conveyors, and programmablecontrollers, following electrical code and blueprints, using hand toolsand voltage tester. Connects power supply wires to machines andequipment, and c onnects cables and wires between machines andequipment, following manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints, usinghand tools and test equipment. Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus, suchas transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, using test equipment,and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables, using hand tools. Testsmalfunctioning machinery, using test equipment, and discussesmalfunction with other maintenance workers to diagnose malfunction.Replaces faulty electrical components of machine, such as relays,switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices, using hand tools.Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such asprinted circuit using electronic test equipment and hand tools Diagnoseand replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components ofmachines and equipment. Effectively communicate with prior and oncomingshift personal regarding status of runs, status, etc. This position willwork a 2-2-3 schedule working 5:00 pm- 5:00 am Pay range of\$28.00-\$33.00 per hour depending on skills and experience. Qualifiedcandidates should possess an Applied Science or associate degree in atechnical field that relates to Electrical and Instrumentation.Equivalent experience that provides the knowledge and skill to performthe role will be considered in lieu of a two-year degree.
