　　To fulfill this Estimator role, a high level of knowledge and/or experience in commercial Electrical estimating and construction projects is required. The Candidate must be able to independently put together timely and accurate project estimates for a variety of project types. Project types include biopharmaceutical, semi-conductor, typical office and/or labs, light industrial; and range in value from $50K - $10M.

　　Position Responsibilities:

　　Manage, organize, and communicate bid documentation for an assigned bid.

　　Read, understand, and assign cost to all bid related documents (drawings, specs, instructions to bidders).

　　Perform detailed take off and unit cost estimates.

　　Perform pricing breakouts as required by customers.

　　Request/Obtain/Evaluate Vendor pricing.

　　Electronically maintain records of all working documents and data to back up estimates.

　　Qualifications and Requirements:

　　Excellent communicator and problem-solver.

　　Competency with computerized estimating and digital take off software..

　　Ability to estimate both design build and plan/spec projects.

　　Ability to read, interpret and understand mechanical drawings/prints and specifications.

　　Proficient with MS Office Suite and specifically Excel

　　Analytical review and reporting, detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.

　　Ability to work and produce a deliverable to a deadline.

　　Education and Experience:

　　Minimum 3-5 years of proven successful experience preparing estimates for commercial projects.

　　Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management is a plus.

　　Commercial MEP estimating experience is a plus.
