This person will be responsible for assembly,implementation, and execution of advanced electrical tests of currentand new Clean Energy products including inverters, battery storagesystems, solar systems, load management modules, and transfer switches.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Fabricate and install testfixtures, wiring harness and devices. Document test results and write aclear and concise test report. Conduct component and system performance,durability, and abuse testing. Solder surface mount and through holecomponents. Operate oscilloscopes, data acquisition systems, powersupplies, and other electronic equipment Collaborate with Engineers forplanning of testing requirements and test procedures. Maintaintest-related documentation in database environment. Analyze test dataand prepare formal and informal test reports. Update and developpolicies and procedures supporting the continuous improvement of theEngineering Lab Actively participate with fellow Lab team members indaily maintenance of Lab environment and preventive maintenance of Labequipment. Recommend laboratory test equipment and facility requirementsInstall various sensors, probes, and data acquisition systems. MinimumQualifications: High School Diploma; 2 years of relevant workexperience. Ability to operate and troubleshoot complex components andsystems. Experience with electrical wiring and related tools. PreferredQualifications: 2 year associate degree with emphasis in electricalsystems or technology. Experience working with high voltage systems(500V DC and 480 V AC). Background or high level of interest ininverters, battery modules, solar optimizers, and transfer switches.Experience working with various test equipment, DMM, Current Clamps,Data Acquisition Systems, Oscilloscopes, and DC power supplies.Understanding of process for soldering surface mount and through holecomponents. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job,the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently isrequired to use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls; and talkand hear. The employee is regularly required to walk; stoop; crouch;bend and reach above shoulders.
