Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, innovative, and detailed individual for our Electrical Engineering Intern position. The ideal candidate for this position will be interested in circuit and hardware design. SEL interns typically work part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer. If you are looking for opportunities to troubleshoot and develop systems from the fundamental electronics all the way to the complete functioning product in our R&D Protection Systems division, then this position is for you!

　　As an Electrical Engineering Intern, a typical day might include the following:

　　Providing technical support to SEL staff & customers.

　　Developing and maintaining knowledge in SEL processes and technologies.

　　Performing testing on new and existing technology.

　　Documenting and communicating test results.

　　This job might be for you if:

　　You are currently a student pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, with one to two years engineering education completed.

　　You have the ability to work part time during the school year and full time during the summer.

　　You have a strong understanding of electric circuit fundamentals.

　　You have working knowledge of electronics laboratory measurement equipment.

　　You have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.

　　You are able to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.

　　You are able to work cooperatively in a team environment.

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Experience using LTSpice or other circuit analysis tools.

　　Experience using MathCAD or other design analysis tools.

　　Microcontroller programming experience.

　　Location - Pullman, WA
