We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer in Hillsboro, Oregon with team leader skills who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects involving semiconductor manufacturing within a state of the art manufacturing facility. Additionally, opportunities may include data center facilities and other high-tech manufacturing. You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, to include scope, budget and schedule. You’ll also provide engineering leadership to the electrical team. Including client assistance during startup, and coordination of work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. You will be part of a multi-discipline, highly collaborative and interactive team producing construction installation drawings for highly complex customer tools. Project activities may include schematics, plans, cable tray routing, cable and cable tray sizing, grounding, fault current review, short circuit review are among a few of the tasks.
You’ll also assist directly with the more complex portions of the design process, interacting directly with the client, owner, and contractors to assist construction on site. You and your team will work closely with client owners in a fast paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents.

Here’s what you’ll need :
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering
Professional Engineer license in State of Oregon, or an ability to obtain
At least 10 years of experience in engineering design of building electrical systems
Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC), and IEEE standards
Experience with Distribution and Branch panel breaker selection and proper settings
Experience with Transformer sizing/selection (including Secondary protection selection)
Solid working knowledge of Electrical one-line modeling programs
Experience leading a diverse team of engineering associates
Strong focus for quality procedures and adherence
Ideally, you’ll also have:
Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering
Semiconductor and/or Data Center/Mission Critical facilities electrical design experience
Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
Passionate about buildings and construction
