　　This Opportunity

　　WSP is currently initiating a search for an Electrical Engineer for our Seattle, WA office . The following locations will also be considered: Portland Or, Vancouver WA, Irvine, CA, San Diego, CA, Los Angeles, CA . Be involved in projects with our Energy - Electrification Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

　　Your Impact

　　Draft feasibility and conceptual reports for electrification projects under the guidance of senior engineers.

　　Contribute to the detailed electrical design of electrification sites, encompassing electrical calculations, single-line diagrams, power distribution, grounding systems, and electrical installation details, adhering to construction specifications.

　　Support engineering projects to ensure timely delivery.

　　Identify and define customer needs and requirements.

　　Research and explore new technologies to innovate and design solutions or products.

　　Oversee the installation process of their designs.

　　Who You Are

　　Required Qualifications

　　Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

　　3-5 years of relevant post education experience in engineering discipline and prior electrical design experience.

　　Past experience in LV electrical distribution system, unit-substation, and underground distribution.

　　Experience in selecting the electrical equipment and reviewing submittal and equipment specification.knowledge of relevant electrical codes, NEC, construction laws, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.

　　The successful candidate should be a dynamic, self-directed individual with an excellent understanding of electrical systems.

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　PE License or Eligible for PE license.

　　Revit/BIM Modeling/CADD.

　　MV Design experience.

　　SKM/ETAP Power System Modeling.

　　Experience with Electric Vehicles and EV Charging Equipment.

　　Experience submitting electrical utility applications and coordinating new services.

　　Expected Salary (all locations): $61,000 - $128,900

　　WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
