Description:

　　• Perform drafting, and assist Engineers . • Generates complete drawing packages, which include but not limited to, wiring harness drawings, product control drawings, manufacturing specifications, assembly and subassemblies, schematics, part list and models. • Experience in design of fiber-optic cables and connectors • Work independently and as part of a team to produce or modify a variety of standard layouts, assemblies, and drawings for new and existing products. • Work from standard product specifications using manufacturing and material quotes to guide design decisions. • Study and analyze blueprints and computer or hand-generated technical drawings. • Collaborate with shop personnel to ensure design manufacturability, efficiency, and an appropriate combination of cost and quality are achieved. • Complete timely ECNs as required. Maintain ECN procedures and documentation in SolidWorks EPDM when creating and redesigning existing products. • Prioritize and complete work timely, anticipating and communicating necessary shifts in project timelines. • Create and revise detail Bills of Materials and Source Control Drawings. • Understand and apply Engineering and Drafting Procedures. • Peer check drawings thoroughly for technical dimensional and formal accuracy. • Troubleshoot components, assemblies and manufacturing discrepancies. • Assist Manufacturing, Planning and Engineering. • Applies approved drafting and tolerance methods to complete drawings. • Interface with appropriate engineering and manufacturing personnel to generate documents and or resolve problems/discrepancies.
