As a engineer for the Electrical Engineering and Controls team, you willbe driving and facilitating the design, development, and testing ofsystems that provide safe and intuitive operator functions,communications, sensors, telematics, controls for motion and hydraulicsystems, datalogging, interfacing with high-power diesel and electricvehicle architecture and components and ensuring manufacturability ofour products in a highly collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Own product development and product refinement for electrical systemsacross our product lines
SRM-Double L Potato farming equipment harvesters, windrowers, pilers,planters, and more
SRM-Kodiak Industrial scale snow blower for critical operations inalpine communities, FAA regulated facilities, DOT Ops, and more. Trucksup to 1200HP, Loader Mount models up to 600HP. Diesel, Hybrid, andElectric offerings
Hagoth Heavy-Duty sweet corn harvesting machines for the overseasmarkets
Pickett Equipment Twin Master Combine worlds best dry bean combineharvester
Standardize electrical systems for our machines to support an ERP drivenproduction environment capable of producing hundreds of vehiclesannually
Create test equipment in collaboration with manufacturing engineers thatperform QC testing on critical system elements
Set departmental goals with ROI backed budgetary goals
Drive timelines for the department to get work done efficiently throughstaff engineers, contractors, and vendors
Develop team members capabilities to support team function
