Job Description
The EHS Technician is responsible for EHS related matters during their assigned shift and collaborating with other areas to maintain a safe working environment.
JOB FUNCTION
Development and maintenance of EHS SharePoint site, EHS related databases, and applications through Office 365 as well as statistics programming for EHS data analysis.
Technical support and maintenance of EHS information technologies.
Development of videos and training materials/digital tutorials.
Assist with the digitization of EHS related documents.
Maintain site SDS database, review and approve new chemicals for site use.
Assist with the reviews of production equipment for potential EHS related hazards and implementing actions to address findings.
Assist with ergonomic reviews of production equipment and processes and implementing actions to address findings.
Work with Contractors and Vendors to maintain compliance with LEGO EHS policies and procedures.
Coordinate and ensure the documentation, deployment, compliance, and improvement of assigned specific EHS processes.
General support of EHS activities.
Our current hours of operations consist of 2, 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday (Shift 1: 6am-2:30pm; Shift 2: 2pm-10:30pm).
JOB REQUIREMENTS
3 to 5 years Manufacturing experience.
Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO45001, and ISO9001 management systems a plus.
Experience in planning and implementing EHS programs.
Knowledge of EHS issues and manufacturing processes.
Risk analysis methodologies.
Basic knowledge of SharePoint and SAP systems.
Office skills (Power point, Excel, Word, outlook etc.)
Basic knowledge in Ergonomics, Industrial Hygiene, and Risk Analysis methodologies.
Problem Solving.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
18 years of age.
Salary range $24.00 per hour
