Kelly Engineering is currently seeking an experienced EH&S Technician to support the Hydrocarbons unit for the Dow site in Fort Saskatchewan, AB ! The EH&S Technician will provide support for the AB Ops FS1 Hydrocarbons unit and shares responsibility for the implementation of the EH&S management system, in order to meet business objectives and to maintain the license to operate. Provides hands-on environmental, industrial hygiene (IH), and health and safety (H&S) activities for a specific plant. Requires full proficiency in a range of technical, operational, or analytical/scientific processes and procedures through job-related training and considerable on the job experience to perform a variety of work assignments. Acts as an informal resource for team members with less experience.

　　PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

　　Supplement EH&S workload during fall re-coil work and for cavern/wells workovers in Q4/2023.

　　Succession planning initiatives that are currently being developed by the AB Ops EHS function.

　　Field-walks into operating plants/businesses/areas will be an expectation for this role.

　　All site and appropriate plant/business/area orientations will be required.

　　REQUIREMENTS

　　High School Diploma or equivalent

　　Some College -2 yr. EH&S Diploma required/(EHS NAIT or equivalent)

　　At least 5-7 years of related experience
