Summary:Using project management expertise, plans, monitors and manages internalprojects from initiation through completion. Incumbent is concerned withclearly identifiable elements or functions within a larger project orindependently manages moderately sized projects. Primary Duties &Responsibilities: Independently leads complex departmentalproject/support assignments and/or participates in cross-departmentalprojects with responsibility for managing scope, risk, business value,schedule and budget. With department management, defines the objectivesto be accomplished by the project team. With the team, develops theproject plan. Directs team members to determine the best methods toachieve the projects objectives. Allocates staff and budget resourcesrequired to achieve project objectives. Identifies and solves a range ofproblems in straightforward situations. Analyzes possible solutions andassesses each using standard procedures, developing a recommendedapproach. Conducts analysis to identify the scope and nature of abusiness and/or system problem.Responsible for accomplishing the statedproject objectives through key project management responsibilities thatinclude building the project requirements and managing the tripleproject constraints of cost, time, and scope. Responsible fordeveloping, maintaining and revising project deliverables.Responsiblefor gathering and delivering metrics as required by the project. At thedirection of project manager lead, develops presentations andcommunications which incorporate a clear understanding of corporatecommunications theory and practice. Identifies alternative options inthe development and enhancements for new policies and processes.Incumbent will build out new processes and systems that help realizeefficiencies and cost savings for the division. Responsible to manageproject risk through the development, maintenance and revision ofreports and tracking tools.
