　　Responsibilities

　　As our Mayo Clinic Neurology department continues to grow in innovation, education, and technology, we are looking for amazing Neurodiagnostic Technologists to join our team.

　　Our technologists are responsible for intraoperative monitoring of EEG or EMG and Evoked Potentials during surgical procedures assisting the surgeon in prevention of neurological deficits. To perform routine procedures in the Clinic or hospital EEG, EMG or EP laboratories when not in the operating room.

　　Qualifications

　　High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of an accredited institution for neurodiagnostic technology or 2 years equivalent neurodiagnostic tech experience. Associate’s degree preferred. Within two years of employment, specific certification through ABRET - Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation (R. EEG T., R. EP T., CNIM, CLTM and CAP); American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM; CNCT) and/or American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technologists (AAET; R.NCS.T.) is required in the laboratory of hire. Must have current certification in Basic Life Support. The Certification Examination in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring is strongly encouraged.
