Job Description Summary

　　Inbound planner is responsible for the daily management and optimization of shipment mix and operations workload and on time availability of products for customer order allocation.

　　Will report to the Inbound Planning / Y&G Teamleader

　　Working in different shifts

　　Y&G will be monitoring the shipments arrival on a daily basis and interact with carriers

　　Main responsibilities will include:

　　* Inbound planning & monitoring of workload execution

　　Ensure accurate & timely workload-planning of all incoming shipments according to existing service level agreements, taking into consideration priority rules & other possible constraints (free time, …)

　　Ensure balanced workload in line with operational capacities

　　Steer the inbound processing activities with his / her knowledge of operations, service level agreements, Supply Chain planning & business

　　Take preventive measures to avoid overload

　　Ensure continuous follow up of workload execution status, taking into account priority setting, availability of warehouse resources & capacity

　　Manage / coordinate daily briefings between planning & operations to ensure the right number of resources at the right workstations

　　Prepare special planning- & arrival schedules (holiday’s, plant shut downs, ..) based on information from inbound admin officer, plants, SC planning, carriers and coordinate the implementation of these special SLA’s

　　In cooperation with operations, provide input on resource requirements to the E-DC operations support person, in order to make the right decisions for working on bankholiday’s or during weekends where needed

　　Inbound arrival monitoring

　　Ensure close monitoring of shipments arrival on a daily basis

　　Interact with inbound operations, SC planning, plants & carriers on shipment status

　　In case of quality remarks during unloading process, take necessary actions to start the inbound carrier claim process

　　Y&G Planning

　　Reception of drivers

　　Assign gate for unloading

　　Handle transport documents

　　Fluent in Dutch

　　Working knowledge of English

　　Basic knowledge of any other language and not being afraid to use it is a great asset.
