Our physician led medical group enjoys an excellent reputation with patients and the medical community, offering primary care, urgent care and more than 30 different specialties. *Job Description The echocardiography technician performs echocardiography examinations according to department procedure including transthoracic and pharmacological/exercise stress studies as required for age-specific populations. The technician will provide preliminary exam findings to Cardiologists to aid in the interpretation of the study. They maintain all necessary documentation of procedures performed. They will keep abreast of all education requirements such as in-service programs to maintain competency. * High School Diploma or equivalent preferred * 2 years’ experience preferred. * ARDMS: RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or CCI: ACS (Advanced Cardiac Sonographer) required * American Heart Association: Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred * Adult Echocardiography registry eligible.
