Position Description

　　Essential duties and responsibilities:Responsible for all activities related to electrical and control integrity which includes:Design, install, inspect, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and adjust various pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, electronic, and Programmable Logic (PLC) control systemsPerform preventative maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drivers, and auxiliary equipmentPerform Inspection and Maintenance (I and M) checks on control systems.Maintain electrical switch gear and power distributionPerform advanced engine/compressor/pump analytical testing. Lead efforts to develop and implement changes as a result of the analytical testingEvaluation/development/implementation/maintenance of facility grounding systemsInstall, analyze and repair security/intrusion systemsResponsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of all facilities and equipment as neededPerform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory and tariff requirementsIdentify, report, and correct safety and environmental concernsComplete appropriate documentation and paperwork.Oversee the construction, maintenance and/or work activities performed by 3rd parties.Demonstrate performance toward operational excellenceMentor fellow employees when the opportunity presents itselfMaintain a regular, dependable attendance and high level of performanceOther duties as assigned

　　Position Requirements

　　Minimum RequirementsEducation:High School Diploma or GEDExperience / knowledge and/or familiarity:Understand and operate various electronic test instrumentsGood record of safe work practices.Working knowledge and/or experience preparing drawings of electrical circuitsWorking knowledge and/or experience reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagramsWorking knowledge and/or experience applying and interpreting results from common electrical measurement instruments (voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, oscilloscope, etc.)Knowledge of National Electric CodesAbility to estimate installation, operating and maintenance expenses associated with electrical and control systems.Ability to complete work assignments with minimal supervision in an acceptable time frameCertifications, licenses, registrations:Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and driving record satisfactory to the Company and its insurers.May be required to achieve and maintain certifications as required to perform job dutiesCompetencies, skills, and abilities:Basic computer skills (knowledge of MS Office, various operation systems and other company software)Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals)Good verbal and written communications skillsMust be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisor(s), adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details and follow work rulesAbility to complete work assignments with minimal supervision in an acceptable time frameDetail-orientedCustomer focusedAbility to mentor fellow employees when the opportunity presents itselfAbility to speak and understand EnglishAbility to work with others, take direction from supervisor(s), focus attention on details, and follow work rulesPhysical demands:Physical ability to lift as much as 50lbs, bend/stoop, kneel and climb stairs/laddersClimb to heights exceeding 150 feetAbility to use hand tools and equipment, repetitive hand use such as simple grasp and twisting motion includedWorking conditions:Ability to work in extreme weather conditionsRespond to/address callouts and emergencies outside of regular business hours.May be required to carry a company-provided cell phone/pager, and be available to respond during working and non-working hours.Travel as neededJob level commensurate with experience and skill setOther responsibilities:The above statements descr be the general nature and level of work being performed.
