PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT Operates companyequipment for the purpose of unloading, loading and/or transportingagriculture and/or energy related products to/from the location orcustomer locations to achieve profitable business growth. ESSENTIAL JOBFUNCTIONS Operates all assigned vehicles, single axle configuration,forklifts, etc. in accordance with established safety standards andproper vehicle operation techniques. Performs and records daily safetychecks of assigned vehicle(s) and associated equipment by conductingpre-trip inspections such as checking fuel and oil levels, inspectingtires, lights, and brakes. Follows the preventative maintenance programand keeps truck clean to maintain professional appearance. Loads andunloads containers, pallets, or materials and products safely ontotrucks, trailers, or railcars by hand or by forklift truck. Ensuresloads are evenly balanced and distributed from the front of the trailerto the back and from side to side, as well checks axle weights andmaintains them in accordance with DOT regulations. Ensures that alldeliveries and pickups are made in accordance with time schedules andperforms duties in a manner that promotes superior customer service andprofessionalism within the company and the industry. Ensures that allassociated documentation, such as bill of ladings, delivery slips,invoices are completed accurately and returned to the branch location atthe end of the day in order to ensure timely receiving and payment ofinvoices. Completes the necessary paperwork including accurate logbooks,records of cargo and any other assigned record-keeping duties on a dailybasis. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Ensures that the annual inspection andcompany required licenses and permits for the assigned vehicle arecurrent and are stored in the vehicle. Follows GROWMARK\'s Code ofConduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health andSafety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. Performsall other duties as assigned.
