This Position is for a Driver of a Medium Duty Street Sweeper with a cleaning service located in Ridgeland. Shifts start at 8 PM and lasts until 4 to 7 AM depending on the route. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays except Christmas.

　　Duties and Responsibilities: Each truck consists of a two person team, driver and helper, that clean parking lots in the greater Jackson area. The Driver is the head of the two person team and is expected to manage the helper and route. Driver is responsible for the truck and everything in and on it. At each lot, the driver will drop the helper at one corner so he/she may begin the task of blowing off the sidewalks and curbs with a backpack blower. The helper will also change trash bags at applicable lots. While doing this, the driver will engage the sweeper and drive over the trash in the lot, stopping to get out and hand pick trash/debris in landscapes and things that are too big to sweep up. After the lot is clean, the drive will then sweep up what the helper has blown off of the sidewalks, help load up the trash bags, dispose of trash bags, dump truck when necessary, and move on to the next lot. 

　　THIS JOB IS OUTDOORS IN ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS. APPLICANT IS EXPECTED TO WORK IN SUMMER WEATHER, WINTER WEATHER, RAIN, AND SNOW. APPLICANT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DRESSING APPROPRIATELY FOR WEATHER CONDITIONS.

　　Education and Experience: Applicant must be a mature individual who is able to commit to the schedule as structured and MUST have the following: 4 years of verifiable work experience driving for a business (This includes but is not limited to regular work trucks, 18 wheelers, delivery trucks, and forklifts), 10 years of verifiable work history in any field, a valid driver's license, clean driving record for the last 5 years, access to reliable transportation, working cell phone, good communication skills, and the ability work well with others.

　　Applicant must also be able to pass background/drug screening tests, and US Citizenship and Immigration Services E-Verity check to confirm eligibility to work in the US.

　　Physical Demands: Must have full range of mobility in upper and lower body, be able to reach overhead, be able to work in various positions including but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time, and must also be able to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks.

　　MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN ANY WEATHER.
