Under the supervision of the Fleet Programs Manager, the Driver Compliance Specialist, is responsible for overseeing aspects of Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance. You will work directly with the Fleet Safety and Compliance teams, field Operations leadership teams, and Drivers to ensure compliance with DOT requirements and the safety of all GXO DOT drivers and non-DOT yard hostlers.

　　What you'll do on a typical day:

　　Provide administrative support to ensure safety and Compliance with DOT requirementsMonitor compliance with hours of service (HOS) requirementsCollect and review roadside inspection reportsUpdate and maintain DOT filesProcess invoices for drug and alcohol testing and DOT physicalsParticipate in the qualification and approval of driver candidatesMaintain and update driver data base systems to reflect changes in driver status```{=html}

　　```- Prepare and maintain daily paperwork including DOT files to ensure confidentiality, accuracy and timeliness- Verify, coordinate and schedule training- Basic office/clerical work such as filing, scanning and uploading of various documents

　　What you need to succeed at GXO:

　　At a minimum, you'll need:

　　1 year of related experienceProficiency in Microsoft OfficeIt'd be great if you also have:

　　3 years of experience with DOT compliance and safetyExperience with Samsara, Omnitracs and/or Tenstreet is a plusSelf-motivated and able to work well independently or in a team environmentStrong organizational and interpersonal skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to maintain confidential and sensitive materials and informationAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentSolid attention to detail and follow-up skills with the ability to identify and resolve problemsWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
