GROWMARK FS* is* headquartered in Milford, Delaware with branches in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. GROWMARK FS has about 500 employees (including seasonal workers) and approximately 13,000 customers. The cooperative does business in seed, agronomy, energy, crop protection, precision agriculture, and custom application. GROWMARK FS is part of the GROWMARK System, an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada. * PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT Delivers all products to ensure customer needs are met. Assures product is properly accounted for. Repairs and maintains all equipment including a wide variety of light and heavy equipment and facility manufacturing and shipping equipment. * ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS * Delivers all products according to customer requirments. Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of equipment to provide proper image and extend the life of equipment. Contributes to maintaining the highest level of customer service. Communicates sales leads to supervisor. Assures that all product is properly accounted for with an invoice or delivery ticket. Minimizes shrink to acceptable levels. Lubricates, services, diagnoses, repairs, assembles and maintains all equipment and vehicles. Performs field or shop inspections to determine repair needs or estimate cost of repairs. Fabricates and rebuilds from both formal and informal plans or verbal instructions. Schedules maintenance and repairs in shop facility. * OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS* Supports and contributes to total company goals and objectives through collaboration efforts. May serve on location Safety Committee and is required to participate in GFS EHS policies and Training. Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. Performs all other duties as assigned. * REQUIREMENTS * Normally requires a high school diploma or equivalent or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to be on call for repairs and emergencies at the discretion of management Must possess or be able to acquire a CDL license with appropriate endorsements. Must have and maintain valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Ability to supply own shop tools. Ability to lift 70 lbs. Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
