In this role you will beresponsible for transporting cargo in an 18-to-24-foot commercialvehicle and/or tractor with 46-to-54-foot trailer or bulk tanker fromthe warehouse to various customers in a safe and timely manner.Responsibilities include handling packages; order accuracy assurance andoccasional order pick up and return. Core Responsibilities: Performsafety checks of brakes, steering column, lights, and mirrors prior toeach leg of journey to ensure road readiness. Load & offload of bulkmaterials. Load & offload of package materials. Assist in unloadingcargo when delivery sites are understaffed, maintaining product qualitythroughout conveyance. Work within ERP system to complete ordershipments. Provide customer service when delivering products and complywith customer procedures while onsite. Additional responsibilitiesinclude helping manufacturing when driving responsibilities arecompleted for the day. Position Requirements: High school diploma orequivalent Valid Class A CDL with tanker & hazmat endorsement (or ClassB and willing to get Class A) Able to be insurable Minimum of 3 years ofexperience operating a commercial vehicle Fork lift experience Able toread and comprehend written and oral instructions including safetyrules, operating procedures, batch recipes and material identificationAble to walk and stand for long periods of time Able to lift up to 50lbs.
