Description:

Candidates will design and detail shop drawings of stairs, railings and miscellaneous steel from architectural drawings and field measurements using Auto Cad.

They will be performing bid walks to understand the dimensions of the project.

Work with architects and engineers to resolve design problems and omissions.

Estimate projects by doing takeoffs for materials and labor

Field measure and revise submittal drawings to reflect actual field conditions.

Work with the fabrication team to confirm design dimensions and finished product before installation.

Skills:

AutoCAD, design, draft, blueprints, measurements, structural, Mechanical, Sheet metal, project management

Additional Skills Qualifications:

4 year bachelor preferred with Architecture, Mechanical or Structural Engineering 2 year degree in drafting (but they MUST have at least 1-2 years of drafting in AutoCAD, preferably with structural equipment) Solid Math skills, Solid knowledge of Auto
