　　Reporting into the country manager, the District Manager:

　　Accountability for Customers relationship and performance in specific territory, managing the 10+ sales force and FTEs in order to maximize revenue and profitable growth for Abbott, in collaboration with Market Access, Marketing, Education & Customer Program departments.

　　key decisions around strategy and following priorities of the assigned territory, including kol management plan and corrective action around underperforming situation.

　　maintain and extend deep and broad relationship with Accounts, Customers, professional within the medical community.

　　work closely with FTE Supervisor in order to ensure the optimal territory technical coverage and to guarantee the best clinical support for complex procedures.

　　Required Qualifications

　　Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent and typically five to seven plus years of sales or clinical support experience with proven experience influencing customers in a healthcare-related setting, ideally in medical device industry; experience in cardiology or cardiac medical devices preferred

　　Aptitude to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices

　　Familiarity with medical device industry policies, operations and procedures

　　Ability to collaborate with a wide variety of customers and colleagues, working with and directing others effectively by using behavioral styles and adapting communication

　　Strong negotiation and presentation skills

　　Willingness to travel 70% of the time

　　Geographies covered: Milan, Turin, Florence, Rome
