Your opportunity
To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability in making this process smooth and client focused.
Support the Distributor Business Due Diligence Process including the relationship with the appointed third-party vendor responsible for the activity. Build robust relationships with the various sales team engaged in this process;
Active involvement in the assessment and due diligence process for distributors and intermediaries, liaising with other teams as appropriate;
Assessment of the distributor/intermediary risk rating and recommendation to change if appropriate;
Prepare all necessary papers for submitting higher risk distributors / intermediaries for approval by senior management;
Assessment of KYC/KYD files (completeness of documentation on file, analysis of the documentation…)
Maintaining checklists, Distribution Due Diligence Questionnaires and performing fully documented assessments
Answering day to day KYD/Distribution oversight issues and queries
Assisting with Due Diligence calls to obtain required information and to explain the regulatory obligations as well as facilitate the client onboarding.
Providing support to the team in relation to distribution oversight activities, approval of sub-distributors appointments, review of KPIs, etc…
Production of reporting to relevant governance bodies, such as boards and internal committees
Prepare various reports for the Conducting Officer Committee and Fund Boards in relation to distribution oversight;
Keep abreast of regulatory developments and business changes affecting the distribution framework and assess any potential impact for the Company.

Must have skills
Excellent working knowledge of investment funds and products, with a previous exposure to AML and KYC regulations
Strong IT skills, including PowerPoint, Excel and database used for analysis and reporting purposes
Fluent written and spoken English required; other European languages an advantage
Nice to have skills

Ability to work closely and add value within both JHIESA and the Group Operations and Distribution functions
Excellent business awareness and ability to offer advice and provide solutions within the business context
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally and manage stakeholders, especially at senior level
Excellent planning, organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a pressurized environment
