  We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Distribution Operation Manager to lead and optimize our distribution operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing the end-to-end distribution process, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance distribution efficiency. This position is based at Irving TX.

  Job Summary:

  The Distribution Operation Manager Coppell Logistics Center (CLC) is responsible for strategic and tactical day to day Management of the CLC Distribution Center.

  The Distribution Manager position is responsible for providing leadership to the Distribution organization by setting the overall focus and direction of the organization and by defining the strategies to meet Mentor / Acclarent organizational goals. This role is also responsible for the development of a superior workforce that focuses on continuous improvement. Position must ensure that a safe work environment exists. Position master’s complexity: able to balance multiple tasks while maintaining business results and following the Standards of Leadership. Influences general policies, organizational goals, and company policies to improve supply chain process, partners with Facilities and Make organization to ensure safe and secure buildings. Establishes and maintains strong relations with E2E supply chain partners globally as well as the manufacturing, marketing, and sales groups. Partner closely with Finance to set and achieve all business plan commitments. Also develops relationships with Johnson & Johnson divisions requiring services from Mentor Site.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Manages the material management of raw materials and warehousing of finished goods through subordinate.

  Develops and implements material management and distribution policies, standards, guidelines, technology and procedures.

  Manages the delivery scheme for raw materials and charge of orders.

  Approves all purchase orders and service agreements within authorized limits.

  Keeps track of inventories (Intermediates and finished products) and ensures the material availability when needs. Initiates and implement. Manages the process of warehousing of finished goods from factory, filling orders, shipping and delivery of merchandise to sale warehouse, wholesale or retail outlets and customer. Facilitates the logistics.

  Analyzes changes in the inventory of material and finished goods relating to supply, demand and pricing. Communicates relevant information to appropriate management and sales department. Resolves difficult problems and customer complaints. Maintains relationships with key customers.

  Establish priorities, goals and objectives to meet current and future product demand and quality requirements. Ensure timely flow of finished goods to distribution per functional management of MRP/CRP and MPS systems.

  Establish operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments.

  Coordinate activities of distribution warehouse with activities of sales, record control, and materials departments to ensure availability of materials and merchandise.

  Manages the activities related to the receipt, processing and shipment of customer orders consistent with all regulatory policies inclusive of international governing bodies.

  Manages the activities related to the receipt, processing and transfer of customer order returns.

  Initiate, develop and implement ongoing departmental improvements through systemic ERP enhancements, application of “best practice” tactics and leveraging of applicable software products.

  Review and establish material and inventory requirements necessary to meet sales demand. Through demand, capacity and manufacturing schedule attainment analysis ensure effective and efficient inventory utilization.

  Monitor, test and report monthly, the effectiveness of cycle counting program throughout operations inventory locations.

  Initiate, develop and implement consignment inventory metrics through systemic ERP enhancements, increased corporate support and improved overall management visibility.

  Ensure direct reports maintain SOP/DOP training and/or review no less than once annually.

  Initiate, develop and implement continuous department improvements within the Distribution / Return / Rebox functions within the CLC.

  Direct activities through subordinate personnel to meet customer/stock requirements through planning/scheduling of production.

  Prepare periodic forecasts/MPS, annual budgets and operate within established fiscal parameters.

  Analyzes market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability and prepare market analysis reports.

  Change Projects for all CLC activity.

  Attend monthly S&OP meetings with Franchise’s to support deliverables for Commercial team.

  Manage the Distribution / Returns process to support Direct Customers with same day shipments.

  Support Mentor Irving make site as SME for Materials Management supporting JDE.

  Works with Customer Service on ensuring on time shipments to customers.

  Works with all levels of Management as key information provider for Distribution metrics.

  Supports all Quality Aspects for Distribution Activity with NC, CAPA’s, Internal/External Audits as Host and SME for the Distribution Practices.

  Maintain State Licenses for the required States on annual basis.

  SOX compliance for JDE roles & responsibilities for Mentor Franchise.

  Metric reporting for KPI’s within the Deliver NA Dashboard.

  Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level

  For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable

  Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures

  Demonstrate independent understanding and application of core GMP fundamentals, including but not limited to: Data Integrity (DI), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).

  Performs other duties assigned as needed

  Manages daily activities for the Distribution/Returns to support Customer fulfillment of shipments/returns for direct customers.

  Qualifications

  Required & Preferred Skills

  Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

  Verbal and written communication skills, project management, problem solving, business/financial acumen, six sigma and process excellence tools/methodologies, presentation skills, training/education methodologies, people leadership, talent development, etc.

  Working knowledge of JDE/DSI systems that currently support material flow E2E of the supply chain, understanding of product flow within Manufacturing.

  Ability to understand the full E2E engagement for all supply chain partners to be proactive in minimizing issues/delays in product fulfillment to customers.

  Knowledge of Process Excellence/Six Sigma tools and methodologies and Process Excellence/Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) Certification is preferred.

  Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required.

  Experience with Microsoft Project and Minitab is preferred.

  Must work effectively as part of a team while maintaining flexibility.

  Must have excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills. Must have strong attention to detail.

  The ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals and government regulations required.

  The ability to write reports, business correspondence and standard operating procedures required.

  Ability to multi task with several key projects and deliverables.

  Keep pace with deliverables tied to multiple Franchises along with adherence to new standards as they are implemented.

  Demonstrates Credo Value, Innovation, master complexity, customer/market place focus, independent partnering, organizational and people development.

  Experience leading or participation in an internal or external audit program is preferred. Knowledge of 21CFR 820, ISO 13485, MDD, CMDR, ANVISA, EU, TGA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Quality System Regulations (QSRs) preferred.

  Experience with external customers on researching shipment information and general questions regarding order fulfillment/status

  Others:

  Position requires up to 10% domestic traveling.
