  Job Description

  The Dispersion Equipment Operator ensures the effective execution of the Daily Build Plan and the efficient manufacture of dispersion-based coatings and adhesives products, assuring an uninterrupted supply of quality products to customers. The Dispersion Equipment Operator is a well-trained production operator that supports the EAST Dispersions area of the plant.

  Responsibilities

  Safely, efficiently, and cleanly operate East area equipment to remove queue and meet schedule needs.Read batch cards, manufacturing instructions, SOP's, and supporting documents.Record process parameters as directed by batch documentation.Complete inspections as directed by equipment documentation.Use SAP to accurately record inventory and material use.Coordinate and support project goals.Read and update reconciliation reports.Monitor and replenish oven-loaded inventory as necessary to meet schedule deadlines.Support training of new operators.Use effective time management to maximize output and reduce cycle time.Work in a team environment with supervisors, co-workers, other departments to help improve overall effectiveness.Operate forklifts and drum trucks (two-wheel, four-wheel, handcarts).Use grind gauges and thermometers.Stand (up to 100% of the time), bend 90 degrees (up to 90% of the time), walk (up to 75% of the time), push/pull (up to 75% of the time), lift (up to 50% of the time), and climb stairs (up to 25% of the time).Lift/carry materials weighing up to 55 pounds (up to 25% of the time).Work in all weather conditions.WORK EXPERIENCE PREFERREDEight months Lord Chemical experience and documented completion of the Lord Manufacturing Assistant training program or two years of chemical production experience.EDUCATION REQUIREDHigh school diploma or equivalent.Must be a US Citizen or have US Permanent Resident StatusThere is a 5% increase after successfully completing your first 90-days.  During your first annual merit cycle, your potential increase could then take you to $22+/hr.If assigned to the night shift, there is a $2.60 shift differential in addition to your hourly rate.Earnings potential up to $41+/hr. based on promotional opportunities!
