JOB REQUIREMENTS: Dispatcher - 5383 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:Overview Job Summary: The dispatcher is responsible for dispatching,overseeing and maintaining the status\' of assigned fleet, giving outappropriate ETA\'s, triaging ambulance response, and act as supportstaff to EMT\'s and Paramedics and to customer service representatives.Responsibilities Supports the company mission by exhibiting thefollowing behavior with employees and providers: * Communication *Accountability * Responsiveness * Excellence and Competence EssentialDuties and Responsibilities: *Be extremely knowledgeable in servicearea *Give appropriate ETA\'s while accounting for type and level ofresponse, traffic patterns, and weather conditions *Prioritize requestfor ambulance service *Communicate issues to marketing, management, andcustomers as necessary *Assist EMT\'s and Paramedics with directions asnecessary *Maintain appropriate status of crews at all times *Overseefunction of assistant dispatcher *Delegate additional responsibilitiesto assistant as necessary *Assist in receiving and entering in requestfor ambulance or medicar service as necessary *Communicate patientdiversions and keep all appropriate associated records *Maintain statusrecords and give appropriate ETA\'s for Critical Care Transport asnecessary *Other duties as assigned Work Environment: While performingthe duties of the job, the employee has verbal contact with others andconstantly works face to face with and around others.
