SUMMARY Receives, records anddistributes pick up orders to production assistants by performing thefollowing duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Route pick-uporders coming into the center, distributing them to the properProduction Assistant each day. Keep accurate records of location of alltrucks and vehicles each day and the calls that are completed each day.Keep track of and file all pick-up tickets, advising the supervisor ofany problems which may arise (i.e. back calls, etc.). Operate two- wayradio equipment according to center policy and FCC regulations. Assistphone receptionist when needed. Route same-day special donations.Maintain open communication with immediate supervisor at all times,informing supervisor of any problems with vehicles, accidents, etc.Supervise assistant dispatcher. Assign vehicles and coordinate allroutes. Conduct Production Assistant meetings when necessary. Wear backguard provided when doing any substantial lifting or moving. Support themission statement of The Salvation Army OTHER DUTIES: Other duties asassigned by supervisor or administrator. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervises assistant dispatcher in accordance with The Salvation Armypolicies and applicable laws.
