JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Broad Description of Duties: TheDishwasher will be responsible to sort, wash, and return dishes andutensils to food operations with the restaurant and maintain a clean andefficient work station. Expedite clean dishes and utensils to the cookline and other areas of Food & Beverage on an as needed basis. Thisposition reports to: Kitchen Manager and/or General Manager (varies bylocation). Essential Functions/Job Duties: Properly fill and maintaindish machine according to manufacturer\'s standards. Maintaincleanliness standards of machine according to health departmentguidelines. Receive, scrape, rinse, and rack dishes and utensils; Unloaddish machine, stack, store, and return dishes and utensils to properarea of kitchen; Empty garbage cans in dish area and throughout kitchenas needed; Sweep and mop floors in dish room and kitchen. Clean and dryfloors to avoid slip/fall accidents and replace floor mats; Perform anygeneral cleaning tasks using standard restaurant cleaning products asassigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards; Wipe down countertops and preparation areas in order to maintain a clean, efficientoperation; Restock area with required supplies; Maintain condition andcleanliness of work area; Handle cleaning chemicals according toprescribed safety standards; Assist with the lifting and moving of foodcarts, dish storage racks and other kitchen equipment as directed bymanagement; Set up equipment stations in designated areas so servicestaff can carry out their functions; Support any member of thedishwashing and service staff when needed; Perform other such duties asmay be assigned Kitchen Manager or General Manager *The above listreflects the general details necessary to describe the principle andessential functions of the position and shall not be construed as theonly duties that may be assigned for the position.
