Planting Operator is responsible for operating the tractor to plant processed material. The job area will encompass Wayne and the surrounding regions and will assist in the harvesting of Giant Micanthus.The Planting Operator operates a 220 horsepower tractor with the ACCU Drop Planter technology to plant the processed material. After the planting material has been loaded to the planter from the transport truck, the Planting Operator will drive the tractor along the crop rows effectively to ensure planting is performed at the highest quality and precision level. They will monitor the material level in the planter and will notify the Planting Labor when reloading is required. The Planting Operator will also be responsible for loading and unloading equipment on transport trailers. If part-time hire these duties may also include generic farm work from cultivation, assisting mechanical work on tractors and other manual labor jobs.
