Employment Specialist (Special Needs Job Coach) Full-Time or Part-Time

　　POSITION SUMMARY: 

　　Works with employers and individuals with disabilities to implement individualized employment services. Provides guidance and instruction to the client and employer as well as monitors progress to ensure a successful outcome.

　　Support individuals through the employment process, including developing a resume, applying to jobs, and interviewing with potential employersTeach individuals independent job skills and requirements utilizing job task analysis and job specific supports, including assistive technology and personal assistanceWork with individuals at their job to assist with analyzing tasks, breaking tasks down into manageable components, and completing their assignmentsIdentify and help solve problems before they become a crisis for the individual, employer, or coworkersWork independently in the communityPartner and interact with employers to development and maintain working relationship in a professional manner.Provide ongoing updates to the employer, family, staff, and managementEnsure required documentation is completed accurately and timelyThis full-time position's work schedule is 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday, however, applicant must be able to work evening and weekend hours, as necessary, to meet the needs of trainees in their worksite.      Part-time hours can be between 16 and 28 hours weekly.   

　　QUALIFICATIONS:

　　*       Required:*

　　High school diploma/G.E.D.Ability to multi-task, work in a team environment, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills able to communicate information to a diverse audience.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Must possess a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and vehicle to travel independently between locations.*       Preferred:*

　　Associate or Bachelor's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation or related Human Services field.One-year experience working with individuals with disabilities.Previous Job Coaching experience Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP), or Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE) Credentials or an equivalent workforce development certification.
