The Director, Warehouse is responsible for ensuring the overall warehouse operations are carried out efficiently. This will include managing the day-to-day activities, management and development of the team, and safety. This position will collaborate with the other site leaders and cross functionally to deliver overall site goals, implement improved systems/processes, and develop site capability to support growth. Critical to success will be fully engaging the entire work force in making improvements, maintaining regulatory compliance, and assuring an excellent customer experience while supporting fast growth. This position is a member of the Site Leadership Team at PCI Pharma Services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for all day-to-day site warehousing activity and long-term material storage strategy.
Oversight of multiple off-site local warehouses which includes logistics of transportation of products and goods.
Utilizes lean/six sigma tools to systemically drive continuous improvement and create a continuous improvement culture.
Leads and drives improvements by understanding root causes through use of systemic tools and creates/tracks/monitors corrective and preventative actions. Engages all levels of the organization in these processes.
Establishes the strategic direction and supports the implementation of standardized business practices at the facility.
Assure compliance of plant operations with company policy, federal, state and local regulations, including OSHA, FDA and employment law.
Oversight of the Warehouse team on shipping/ receiving.
Oversight of Warehouse ambient and cold storage.
Management and development of the warehouse leaders across 24/7 operations.
Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate rapid improvements and improved communications and working relationships.
Coordinates utilization of PCI’s outsource logistics partners.
Oversight of Warehouse Management System and ASRS
Report on daily, weekly, monthly metrics pertaining to inventory, expired components, and cycle count.
Oversee and participate in the interview/selection process of hiring. Maintain ongoing and scheduled employee appraisal processes including wage considerations, promotions and job transfers.
Partners with internal stakeholders to provide operational leadership cross functionality to identify equipment needs, resources, etc.
Delivers excellence in safety through personal daily visible engagement, supporting system implementation, driving accountability, and a behavior focus.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory SOP and cGMP guidelines
This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules. Attendance to work is an essential function of this position.

Required:
Bacheor's Degree in a related field and/or 7-10 years related experience and/or training.
College Level Mathematical Skills
Advanced Computer Skills: Ability to perform the most complex computer tasks and operate various computer programs.
Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
Very High Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in math or diagram form and deal with several abstract/concrete variables.
High Standard of Report Writing
Preferred:
Master's Degree (M.A.) in related field and/or 5+ years related experience or training.
Ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction.
Ability to set and achieve challenging goals.
Ability to show success in managing employees.
