The Opportunity
You will report to the Vice President, E2E I&T Business Partner. This role is accountable for the coordination and delivery of services for US (Kankakee and Holly Springs) manufacturing sites. The colleague is the principal liaison between the site and the I&T organization to ensure site and global I&T outcomes are met. This matrix role will also include being part of the site management team.
You oversee Information & Technology activities for site applications, infrastructure, resources, and budget to support our needs. You will be the I&T representative at appropriate manufacturing Tier Meetings, ensuring services are delivered to enable operational objectives. Concurrently, you will work with Enterprise I&T towers or business stakeholders to address technology challenges that prevent achievement of Manufacturing Operations metrics.
The colleague will liaise with I&T Enterprise Towers, including Service Delivery, Technology Office, Information & Cyber Security, and Enterprise Process, to ensure coordination of needed tools and capabilities at sites. Additionally, you will liaise with appropriate business stakeholders that are symbiotic in delivering I&T services, including Execution and Labs Systems and quality.
The Role
Prepare site objectives and budgets aligned to Enterprise Towers to facilitate the orderly and efficient provision of I&T services to the Site.
Accountable for the efficient management of all resources; follow company policies, including physical, technology, financial and people in the delivery of I&T services to the manufacturing site.
Recommend operational plans and strategies that will directly influence the achievement of manufacturing operational metrics. You will partner with the Business Office PMO Portfolio Leader function to understand and contribute to overall I&T requests.
Work with site leadership on internal and external operations that are impacted by the capture, storage, processing, and dissemination of information including the approval of major site I&T contracts for the provision of services and equipment.
As part of the local leadership organization, you will contribute to the development of I&T plans and strategies for the region.
Coordinate the execution of Manufacturing Cyber Security Program with Information Security and Cyber Team.
Provide technical guidance to CSL departments to facilitate IT risk assessment and risk management processes.
Manage programs across the region and potentially across the Group.
Tasked with managing large projects of strategic importance to our organization.
Create and participate in community of practice with fellow site leaders to share best practices and discuss opportunities for improvement.
Manage communications both internally within IT and externally with the business to provide proposals, solutions, and mitigate conflict to enable site goals aligned to enterprise objectives.
Your Skills and Experience
Bachelor's Degree is required; a master's degree is a plus.
10 years of progressive responsibility in Information Technology experience, including 5 years of middle and senior level management experience.
In-depth knowledge of a regulated industry (Pharma/Biotech or Life Sciences is preferred.)
Experience working within a global matrixed management organization is highly desirable.
Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, organizational development and change management, strategic planning, action planning and supervision are required for successful performance.
Familiarity with SAP MES, Siemens MES, Jag MES and Werum MES is needed for this role.
