About the Position :
Sanofi has embarked on a significant effort to elevate and modernize the talent acquisition function to meet their business objectives and attract the best talent in today’s competitive market. In this role, your expertise in developing talent acquisition strategies and your ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders will be critical to meet the organization's talent needs and drive business success.
As a key member of Sanofi’s Talent Acquisition organization, the Director of Talent Acquisition-R&D will report to the one of the two Sr. Directors of Talent Acquisition, North America, and be responsible for providing leadership of our Talent Acquisition Teams and External Partners supporting our Global Business Units and or Functions as applicable.
Serve as the primary talent leader to champion and design an array of solutions to meet current and future people demands. These solutions may include talent acquisition, internal talent mobility, talent management, early career programs, inclusion & diversity ambitions and external workforce programs
Partner with Talent Management and People & Culture Partners to facilitate key talent processes, including but not limited to talent review and, succession planning with a goal of turning outputs into actionable plans
Delivery of ongoing talent acquisition demands by leveraging a core team of talent acquisition professionals including recruitment processing outsourcing partners
Actively advocate our inclusion and diversity ambitions to ensure our employee population is as diverse as the patients we serve
Coach and develop a core team of talent professionals as well as act as the primary leadership point of contact for recruitment outsourcing partners
Utilize digital tools and resources to better understand internal and external talent trends
Key Responsibilities :
Manage the planning and execution of all staffing initiatives based on headcount planning, trends of hiring, and special hiring projects and/or expansions when relevant
Create Talent Strategies for functional or business units as needed
Foster relationships/partnerships with People Business Partners, People Excellence Partners, Compensation and Talent Management to ensure a holistic approach on Talent Strategies and Recruitment Strategies
Communicate with business leaders, hiring managers and stakeholders throughout the process to ensure appropriate expectations.
Coach and counsel hiring managers on the full cycle hiring process and develop recruitment strategies that align with the business goals
Influence Talent Acquistion Partners and Hiring Managers to partner directly, ensuring strategic view and ongoing status of hiring goals
Responsible for managing Training Plans for Talent Acquisition Partners to enhance competencies; manage performance
Responsible for overseeing Training Plans for business leaders and hiring managers regarding their role in the recruitment process
Empower Talent Team to utilize multiple tools and resources to build and maintain a well-developed candidate pool
Provide counsel to hiring managers, business leaders, and People Business Partners when developing offer proposals, utilizing external market data and internal compensation analysis tools
Actively works to gain genuine understanding of business goals
Strives to build mutually beneficial solutions and partnerships; build strong relationships
Requisition management and recruitment for select roles on an as needed basis
Actively seeks customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
Gain insight to underlying workforce ambition and talents
Encourage direct partnership between Talent Acquisition Partners and Hiring Managers to foster collaboration and ensure the team performs to a level of excellence
Understands evolving people and empowering growth of team members

Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University
9+ years of broad experience in human resources and talent acquisition within life sciences, health care or comparable industry, or in a best-in-class talent acquisition organization
7+ years of this should be management/coaching/mentoring experience
Experience strategically sourcing candidates from a variety of sources; managing/driving the full life cycle recruitment process, conducting compensation analysis at the onset of the recruitment process and managing negotiations & closing at the offer stage.
Proficient at using software and leveraging technology for talent acquisition processes
A thorough understanding of state and federal legal processes, requirements, and legislation
Analytical mindset, and critical thinking abilities
Skilled at negotiation, presentation, and execution
Excellent at both verbal and written communication
Strong networking and relationship-building skills
Meticulous, hard-working, and goal-driven
Preferred Qualifications :
