About Director - Supply Chain

  In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  Develop and implement Supply Chain Transformation strategies that diversify the supply base to mitigate the risk posed by natural disasters, geo-political disruptions, cyber-security breaches, pandemics, and financial disruptions.

  Support the hiring and development of each business’ global supply chain professionals to execute supply chain transformation.

  Coordinate programs leadership across Final Control and Emerson

  Develop a communication plan to keep everyone advised of the progress.

  Meet regularly with supply chain leaders to discuss your plans and get their feedback.

  Present to senior management on a regular basis to advise and capture input.

  Prepare regular reports and BI tools that summarize the progress of your initiatives and highlight any key challenges or opportunities.

  Implement a tracking system to supervise the actual financial performance of the program.

  Apply a common Final Control cross-functional Supply Chain Phase-Gate procedure to optimize Supply Chain Design.

  Empower individuals through all phases of a successful project with clear objectives and timelines.

  Handle multiple projects using predictive, agile, and hybrid approaches.

  For This Role, You Will Need:

  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent field

  10+ years of supply chain or operations experience in a manufacturing environment

  In-depth knowledge of generally accepted purchasing practices, contract negotiations, & purchasing-related laws and regulations.

  Ability to travel globally more than 50% of the time.

  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  Strong organizational agility, contract development, and interpersonal skills

  Project management experience. Project Management Professional (PMP)

  Expertise in all aspects of supply chain performance management

  Ability to project a positive and professional image on behalf of the organization

  Proficiency in Business Intelligence applications

  Solid PowerPoint and presentation skills

  Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and all levels of staff throughout the organization through both oral and written communication
