About Director, Strategic Talent and Business Partner, US CMG

  Job Location: Bentonville, AR Position based in Bentonville and requires travel throughout US. The Director, Strategic Talent and Business Partner (STBP) for US CMG Sales is a key Human Resources leader reporting to the Vice President Strategic Talent & Business Partner. The Director, STBP works closely with the Chief Sales Officer and Sales Leadership Team in driving efficient top-line growth through world-class sales COEs, retail, and customer capabilities. The successful candidate will have 10-12 years of progressive talent management and Human Resources leadership experience within Fortune 500 organizations, with at least half of this being within a top Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company. Experience managing large-scale organizational change, efficiently transforming key business capabilities (including analytical and digital tools, skills, and ways of working), while enabling positive employee value proposition in an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion, is necessary. Successful candidates will be highly commercial and analytical with proven ability to coach and influence senior leaders and lead virtual and cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding results. / What the role must deliver:/ Workforce plans that deliver top commercial capabilities aligned to company and HR strategy. Talent and organizational initiatives that support business priorities and drive top-quartile financial performance. Efficient people SG&A aligned to business strategy with outcomes tracked to a financial forecast. / Critical Skills:/ Executive Support – Coach and influence the executive team of a CPG Sales function. Strategy – Translate business strategy to inform and align HR strategy against business initiatives. Workforce planning – Validate critical skills and roles against business needs, refresh succession plans, track succession hit rates, monitor scenario plans . Capability building – Identify skills, validate with business, clarify gaps, build plan to address gaps, implement plans, measure progress, sustain progress . Change Management – Consult, design, implement and execute change management strategy and plan components against business initiatives. Cost Management – Implement and monitor talent outcomes and track financial forecast . High performance teaming – Diagnose areas inhibiting success, co-create solutions to overcome, coach and support leaders to drive towards and achieve process . This is an individual contributor role. Required travel estimated to at 25-35% throughout the US including Hershey, PA. / Education:/ / Required:/ Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Industrial & Labor Relations, Human Resources Management, Human Resources Development, Psychology, Business, etc.) required. / Preferred:/ Graduate degree in relevant field. #LI-SW1 The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
