The incumbent will directly overseethe Power Generation business unit procurement team responsible for\$50M+ of direct commodities; while also providing the strategicsourcing tools and guidance in support of the decentralized spend. KeyResponsibilities: Define and implement comprehensive strategies for thePower Generation Sub Vertical - to reduce costs, mitigate risk, improvequality, shorten lead-times and reduce inventories. Responsible for costproductivity strategies directly related to direct material acquisitionacross all factories fabricating and assembling Power Generation Coolingmodules in the global footprint to deliver aggressive annual costreduction targets. Analyzes market and delivery conditions to determinethe best strategy for sourcing and procurement of materials based onpresent and future material availability as well as supplierperformance, and total landed cost.
