Position Summary
The Director of Outreach and Engagement is responsible for the oversight and implementation of the OhioRISE Strategic Growth and Communications Plan to expand community awareness and enrollment in OhioRISE, facilitate enrollment, increase engagement in OhioRISE care coordination, support CMEs, and ensure that OhioRISE Stakeholders and Members are educated on enrollment process and enhanced benefits of the program
As the Outreach and Engagement Director you will report to the Children’s System of Care Executive Director and work in close partnership with the Director of the CME Alliance Hub, the Communications Manager, and all matrixed growth partners to effectively support our CME partners and the youth and families in their care. You will need to reside in the state of Ohio. You will have supervisory responsibility for the Regional Coordinators and the Youth and Family Engagement Managers
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing, facilitating, and implementing outreach activities, special events, programs, and presentations which support plan membership growth, member education, and health plan awareness of Aetna OhioRISE and Ohio Care Management Entities (CMEs).
Maintains compliance with ODM’s Medicaid marketing requirements
Coordinates community event coordination including reserving space, communications, and material distribution.
Ensures adequate collateral materials are available to participants in any member education or member seminar as appropriate.
Build and maintain relationships with key community stakeholders, including, but not limited to:
Parents with Children Eligible for OhioRISE;
Ohio Education System;
Ohio Justice System;
Other Ohio Medicaid Managed Care Organizations
Ohio Child Welfare System and Public Children Services Association of Ohio
County health agencies
Inpatient/Acute Care Facilities
Health Care Providers (behavioral health, primary care, and specialty care);
Faith-Based Organizations
In collaboration with Communications Manager, ensure that frequent, effective and efficient communication takes place with all stakeholders.
Maintain a calendar of outreach activities, including community events, workshops, appearances, and other communication opportunities.
Responsible for oversight and supervision of OhioRISE Regional Coordinators and the Youth and Family Engagement Managers
Preparing an annual budget for community outreach activities.
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in community outreach and event planning
Demonstrated relationship management skills; capacity to quickly build and maintain credible relationships at varying levels externally and within the organization
Strong organization skills, creativity, and member focused approach
Experience generating agenda topics, engage appropriate subject matter experts and facilitate meetings inclusive of members, providers, and state regulator
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a closely related field or 7 years of equivalent work experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 - $231,500.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
