The Director of Treasury Operations will be responsible for the company-wide cash management and funds transfers and other cash concentration requirements. This role also determines short-term borrowing needs to manage daily liquidity requirements. The Director will also manage a team of analysts and specialists in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment. The Treasury team is based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Director can be based in Baton Rouge, LA or Plano, TX with 25-50% travel to Baton Rouge required. Job responsibilities are as follows: Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Treasury Operations department Implement the development and implementation of cash management and overall banking functions for both corporate needs and the 280+ branch network. Lead all aspects of and maintain bank account administration. Responsible for liquidity management of all entities Develop and prepare cash forecast. Manage all relationships with 20+ financial institutions supporting company’s cash management operations. Develop reporting package for executive team and the Board of Directors on company’s liquidity and key cash management operating metrics. Lead and improve internal processes to drive operational efficiency and to ensure compliance with internal policies, controls and procedures. Develop and monitor treasury operational policies. Manage all cash management functions including cash concentration, wires, and account funding. Ensure adequate liquidity for working capital needs and manage short-term borrowings; manage inter-company cash. Oversee cash management banking and financial institution relationships; negotiate bank and service fees. Implement new bank technologies, products, and services to improve the cash cycle and simplify company operations. Demonstrate leadership and training skills to further develop staff within the department. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or finance required. MBA or advanced degree in related field preferred. CTP and/or CPA preferred. 8-10+ years of experience in treasury operations managing the banking relationships and cash management operations for a financial services company with increasing responsibility. 3+ years of experience managing a department of 3 or more team members. Familiarity with accounting software, MS Dynamics preferred.
