We are hiring a Director of Sustainability Sales - Americas to lead a team of sustainability sales professionals for our cross-solutions team.

Responsibilities
Develop and coach a high-performing team by hiring diverse talent, prioritizing talent development, and delivering success through empowerment and accountability
Lead a team accountable for driving sustainability engagements and wins by executing against GTM opportunities; aligned with ATU and the FY24 sales priorities for the field
Drive sales of Sustainability Motions focused on Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability, Microsoft Sustainability Manager (MSM) Premium, and Azure Data & AI
Enhance seller capabilities and develop a team that delivers against core priorities, gains customer commitment, captures learnings and insights from wins/losses, and generates ideas for new sustainability sales scenarios
Help secure wins in collaboration with sellers and account teams by acting as sponsor and actively helping to close strategic deals
Leverage partners (SI, ISV, MSP) to solve customer needs and accelerate pipeline
Act as the conduit for business and solution insights to inform strategy and execution of the GTM team and chart the path for sales execution
Build industry knowledge, technical expertise, and compete insights for use in customer interactions
Disciplined in business management; adaptable to a culture of accountability; build a strong and active business network
Ensure accurate management of pipeline opportunities, data integrity, prioritization of account activities to drive wins
Achieve or exceed win target for the team; excellent roadblock remover and resource orchestrator
Build credibility as a sales leader and domain ‘thought leader’; establishing credibility and value with your sales team, field sales teams, and representing Microsoft at customer meetings, executive/technical briefings, industry events, etc.)

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
7+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 6+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.
Knowledge & experience working in the sustainability domain and experience working in sustainability business roles.
Additional/Preferred Quailifications:
6+ years solution or services sales experience.
3+ years people management experience.
Executive engagement experience (CxO level) and excellent executive presentation skills.
Knowledge of data technologies such as Fabric, Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks.
Experience working in large, global organizations; managing through influence across large organizations.
Solution Area Specialists M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $122,400 - $216,500 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $166,100 - $235,000 per year.
