As the Director of Software Engineering Integra Partners, you will play a pivotal role in leading our dynamic software development team. We are seeking an experienced and innovative individual who can drive our engineering efforts, foster a culture of collaboration, and contribute to the growth and success of our technology initiatives.
Salary: $180,000/annually
Responsibilities:
Leadership:
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the software engineering team.
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Technical Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive technical strategy aligned with business goals.
Drive innovation and technological advancements within the software development process.
Ensure the adoption of best practices, coding standards, and efficient development processes.
Project Management:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Team Development:
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Conduct regular performance reviews and set development goals for team members.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Collaboration:
Work closely with product management, design, and other stakeholders to align software development with business objectives.
Foster effective communication and collaboration across teams.
Identify and resolve cross-functional issues to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
5 years of experience in software engineering. 10+ years people management experience building strong teams and managing managers. A passion for people management and mentorship. 10 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles.
Experience with including Angular, Java, Java Script, Golang, messaging protocols, and web services) and build processes.
Soft Skills:
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Strong communication and decision-making abilities.
Proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams.

What will you learn in the first 6 months?
You will contribute to enhancing the future state and current state projects for a durable medical equipment provider, while working with a great team of software developers creating a new shared services platform using the best tools and processes.
What will you achieve in the first 12 months?
Within twelve months, you will work on the transition of monolithic applications into a shared services framework and enable our call center to be more effective with great tools. You will play a major role in working with a dynamic team fully integrated into our future growth. You will become a trusted leader of our IT department and a consultant to the business on process improvements.
