Job Summary:The Director of Sales is a crucial element in our strategic plan to elevate and grow our market share in the industry. This individual will be expected to manage all aspects of the sales process and be the driving force in the development of the work ethic, culture and values of the sales team. Strong attention to detail and exceptional communication skills are necessary in this role to ensure resultingquotes and bid packages are to the required standards of new Clients. Our ideal candidate has considerable negotiating and presentation skills, can produce innovative solutions, and owns a no quit mentality.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Presenting our catalogue of services to potential Clients that promote the benefits and strengths of the Company. Developing and fulfilling strategies for lead generation, sales, pricing and all other matters related to revenue generation. Developing and tracking a new key account pipeline.Scheduling check in meetings with new Clients to confirm their expectations are being met.Implementing policies and procedures that will improve sales efforts.Working with the executive team to set strategic goals and direction for the Sales department.Managing complex contract negotiations and working with legal counsel as required.Projecting a positive image of the organization to Employees, Clients, and Vendors.Establishing budgets for the sales department.Spearheading business development initiatives that are consistent with the Companys overall strategy.Running daily and weekly reports to maximize key selling opportunities.Preparing detailed RFPs and quotes.Maintaining all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations.Working with management team to understand client focused operationalactivities and related strategic goals.Maintaining all sales demonstration tools and applications.Training, mentoring, and developing the sales team on company goals and expectations.Staying up to date on industry trendsThis position will require travel throughout the year for events including, but not limited to, trade shows, client visits, and prospect presentations. Education and ExperienceBachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred8 years of B2B sales experienceExcellent analytical, decision making, and problem solving skills.Substantial knowledge of data analysis and performance operation metrics.Superior managerial and diplomacy skills.Exceptional presentation and communication skills (written, verbal and listening)Expert level computer skills highly proficient in Microsoft 365 programs, Salesforce, Zoom, etc.
