The City of Lima is currently accepting resumes for the position of Director of Housing and Neighborhoods. Under administrative direction, this position directs and administers planning, housing, property maintenance, economic development, and community development programs including federal and state grant programs, property reuse, land bank and brownfield initiatives, tax abatement incentives, and neighborhood support functions; directs personnel functions; supervises planning and community development personnel; directs and performs public relations functions; establishes and maintains external relationships; maintains personal and professional competence and awareness; performs budget functions; performs payroll activities.

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's degree in city or regional planning, landscape architecture, architecture, geography, or related disciplineMinimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience with a public planning, community development agency, or economic development organization4 years of supervisory experiencePreferably 2 years as an agency directorMust obtain membership -- American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) or equivalent
