　　Vincennes University is seeking applicants for the position of Director of Financial Aid. This is a full time professional staff position located at the VU Main Campus site.

　　The Director of Financial Aid is responsible for providing leadership and direction for the accurate and timely administration of student financial aid in compliance with all relevant federal, state, and institutional regulations, policies, and procedures. Along with the bursar, the Director of Financial Aid leads the student financial services team in providing excellent customer service to prospective and current students and families. The Director of Financial Aid is also responsible for working with the compliance officer and director of student financial services to assure timely and accurate preparation and submission of reports required for the administration of federal and state financial aid.

　　Duties and Responsibilities:

　　Along with the compliance officer, ensure that all policies and procedures are in compliance with appropriate federal, state, and university rules, regulations, and policiesLead, supervise, and evaluate financial aid counselors in their provision of financial aid counseling services to students and familiesCooperate with other university officers to assure compliance with regulations associated with the universitys eligibility for federal Title IV programs and for State of Indiana student aidAssure accurate and timely submission of updates to and reapplications for the Program Participation Agreement (PPA) with the United States Department of EducationAssure accurate and timely annual set-up of the Banner Financial Aid moduleAssure development and posting of financial aid documents for students such as verification, requests for consideration of special circumstances, requests for change in dependency status, appeals of suspension under standards of satisfactory academic progress (SAP), etcRequired Skills and Preferred Qualifications:

　　Typing skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office requiredProficiency in Banner software desiredMust have excellent written skills and be proficient in general business administration formatsProven success simultaneously managing multiple projects and initiatives required```{=html}

　　```- Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred- Three years of supervisory experience as an Assistant Director or higher required- Five years of administrative financial aid experience preferred
