　　Tatum by Randstad is recruiting for an experienced Interim Director of Finance for a well-known company within the construction industry that is based in San Jose, CA. The Interim Director of Finance will oversee accounting operations, including audit preparation, debt management, cash management, M&A activities, etc., while driving process improvements.

　　This contract position can be remote or hybrid for the right candidate and is an immediate need. The compensation range is $90 to $100/hr., based on previous experience.

　　responsibilities:

　　Establish and maintain the company's accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives

　　Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures; establish and maintain written policies and procedures as they pertain to maintenance of internal controls and accounting policies

　　Play a critical role in future mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, integration, and post-acquisition financial strategy

　　Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes for all entities

　　Supervise and development of accounting staff

　　Manage various external audits

　　Prepare and update short-term and long-term financial plans

　　Responsible for federal and state tax filings and other statutory financial reports

　　Responsible for cash flow management, projections, analysis, and financial modeling

　　Creating financial presentations and providing analyses as needed for the Board and Private Equity Firm

　　qualifications:

　　Previous experience in an accounting leadership role such as a Director of Finance, VP of Finance or related position

　　Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA and/or CPA is preferred

　　Advanced Excel skills are required

　　Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions, including due diligence, and post-acquisition integration activities

　　Operational leadership experience required; ability to identify gaps, drive improvements, and maximize efficiencies

　　Excellent communication skills, both oral and written are required
