Description Our reputable client is seeking a Director of Finance to join the company. As part of the management team, the director of finance must have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills. This may be the role for you if you are an experienced VP/Director of Finance looking for a challenging role at an established company.

　　Key responsibilities

　　Aid in developing department goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures- Work with department managers to develop five-year business plans

　　Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts

　　Comply with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements

　　Oversee insurance and risk management

　　Manage the hiring, training, and retention of finance staff

　　Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget

　　Evaluate and sustain forecasting and budgeting models

　　Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance

　　Manage the preparation of all financial reports

　　Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives

　　Take the lead on all financial and accounting operations

　　Develop financial analysis prior to contract negotiations and product investment decisions

　　Direct, review, and prepare budget management and financial planning functions Requirements

　　Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

　　Knowledge of financial and accounting reporting systems

　　7+ years of accounting and finance experience

　　MBA or CPA is preferred

　　Extremely detailed and analytical

　　Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

　　Expert Microsoft Excel skills required
