This role ensures the accuracy of the general ledger, thetimeliness of financial information preparation, the complete and timelyperformance of applicable control activities for SOX compliance, and theoptimization of accounting procedures to support the company's goals.Key Job Responsibilities:Overall responsibility for managing monthly close, including management ofthe global monthly financial close calendar.Drives and oversees accounting efficiencies and automation improvements in ourERP system, NetSuite, and leveraging BlackLine across our global organization.Delivers a consistent, timely and accurate monthly financial close processwith a focus on continuous improvement to meet the evolving reportingrequirements of the Financial Reporting team, Executive Team, FP&ATeam, and other stakeholders.Manages all processes related to journal entries and balance sheetreconciliations, along with general ledger and chart of accounts management.Oversees shared services, including collections, cash application andaccounts payable processes and teams; seeks opportunities to refineaccounting processes along with implementing strategies to improve workingcapiEnsures accounting transactions are in compliance with internal policies andU.S. GAAP.Supports external audit of financial statements through reconciled andaccurate deliverables on a timely basis.Assists with the development of new processes, systems and/or policies(from an accounting/controls perspective) as needed to support growth,business change, and/or "sustainable improvement" initiatives.Works as part of cross-functional teams to execute various special projectsrelated to acquisitions and business development deals.Provides leadership and communication; cultivates a motivated environment oftrust, teamwork, and accountability within team.Coaches, mentors, and develops staff, including recruitment andonboarding, performance management and career development.Complies with company ethics, code of conduct, policies, and bestpractices, with a commitment to safety in the workplace, valuing ofdiversity, and promotion of a harassment-free environment.Performs other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications/Education:7+ years experience in Accounting, preferably including experience at apublicly traded company and in public accountingCPA strongly preferred3+ Years of management experienceDemonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles andSarbanes Oxley complianceAbility to lead a team and collaborate across departmentsExperience with NetSuite or Blackline a definite plus!Any equivalent combination of education and experienceCompensation/Benefits:The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and compensation for thisposition.
