  How you make a difference

As the Director of Compliance, I am responsible for providing effective management and oversight of organizational compliance, ensuring adherence to facility-wide compliance and performance improvement activities. My role involves designing and implementing comprehensive programs, procedures, and practices to guarantee that all jails operate in strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, thereby maintaining the highest level of enterprise compliance. With a focus on meeting contract, accreditation, and regulatory standards, I strive to achieve best practice patient care and safety outcomes through strategic planning and meticulous execution.

  Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the preparation and submission of response/corrective action plans, manage facility compliance binders and manuals, and submit required reports and documents, ensuring adherence to contract, licensure, and certification standards.

Manage the development, revision, and dissemination of policies, procedures, and protocols, serving as the primary liaison for contract, licensure, and certification matters. Maintain current records of protocol status and oversee the process for effecting changes.

Conduct inspections and reviews to validate service provision, collaborating with facility leaders to design and implement programs that ensure safe, secure, and compliant medical and mental health care services. Provide training and support for data analysis, performance assessment, and improvement initiatives.

Develop and implement strategies to meet compliance and accreditation standards, oversee accreditation documents, and coordinate training on accreditation issues for departments and staff. Review and edit documents in accordance with facility-wide compliance and regulatory standards.
